Tasting Profile

Cherry, blackberry, and black currant are layered with violet, star anise, and baking spice. On the palate, it is broad and polished, with tension, structure, and a long finish marked by dark berries and cocoa.

Winemaking

Fruit was harvested by hand at night on September 30, 2024, from a mid-slope block planted to clone 115. Clusters were sorted and destemmed, with berries kept intact to preserve freshness and fruit expression. After a three-day cold soak, the wine fermented for 12 days, then completed malolactic fermentation and aged in French oak for 18 months with extended lees aging.
